Therapy with Michaela
I am a registered Social Worker with CORU and a accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I work with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and more. My adaptable approach ensures that each session is tailored to your unique needs, helping you work through emotional and psychological concerns in a way that feels right for you. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
"Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces."
- Ann Voskamp

About Michaela
Meet Michaela, your Psychotherapist
As a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their emotional health. I approach counselling and psychotherapy from an integrative perspective, using a range of techniques and modalities to provide a tailored and holistic approach to therapy.

"Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength."
- Sigmund Freud
Embracing an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy, I reject the notion of a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions according to each individual's unique needs.
By incorporating techniques such as Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and more, I strive to facilitate holistic healing and promote personal growth.
Connecting across vast distances has never been easier. I offer online counselling/psychotherapy sessions via Zoom or Google Hangouts, and I also provide telephone counselling as needed. Despite the virtual setting, the quality of therapy remains consistent with in-person sessions.
